Newcastle United's pre-season trip to Japan is over - but the memories of seeing their heroes up close will remain for the hordes of Magpies fans who turned up to support the club during their trip to Tokyo.

Eddie Howe's men spent a week in the country as part of the 'J.League International Series 2024 powered by docomo', in which they beat Urawa Red Diamonds and lost to Yokohama F. Marinos.

But a key part of the trip was giving United fans cheering the lads on from the other side of the world a chance to connect with the club in person, and be among the first to snap up the new adidas third kit on its release last week.

Serena Taylor brought newcastleunited.com this gallery from a number of events across the week, including a pop-up shop takeover at Euro Sports Tokyo store in Ginza and a fan event where first team players met supporters in Shinjuku City.
