Goals from Miguel Almirón, Lewis Hall and Joe Willock saw Eddie Howe's side cruise through to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals with a 3-0 victory over the Red Devils in round four, with a trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in the last eight their reward.

Backed by an 8,000-strong travelling support, this was one of the Magpies' best performances of the season so far, even after Howe had made eight changes to his line-up as injuries continue to hamper his squad.
