From Saturday 4th August to Thursday 9th August, the stadium will play host to the Get North! Family Expo – an itinerary of activity and invention designed especially for families by the Great Exhibition of the North team.
The Expo kicks off with a two-day extravaganza of entirely free activities hosted in the Bamburgh Suite on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August.
There’s no need to book. - just head down to the stadium to enjoy a fun-packed programme of art, science, sport and innovation.
To make the opening day of the Expo extra-special, and to coincide with our friendly match against FC Augsburg, we have arranged for Strawberry Place to be closed to traffic to make way for our Family Fun Zone.
The fun will include all of the attractions you’d normally expect to see on our annual open day, including inflatable football hosted by the fantastic Newcastle United Foundation.
MATCH TICKETS
There is absolutely no expectation for families to buy match tickets in order to enjoy the weekend’s events.
However those who do want to see the friendly match taking place against FC Augsburg are advised to buy early to avoid large queues on the day.
Advanced-purchase tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s.
