Newcastle United's under-18s face their Brighton & Hove Albion counterparts in the third round of the FA Youth Cup on Monday evening.

And supporters will be able to watch the game, which kicks off at 19:00 (GMT), live and exclusive on the Official Newcastle United App (UK only).

The young Magpies, coached by Chris Moore and James Marwood, will be aiming to win the trophy for a third time in the club's history after tasting success in 1962 before a side including Geordie midfielder Paul Gascoigne, lifted the cup in 1985.

United’s youngsters reached the quarter-finals of the competition in 2021 with a side involving Elliot Anderson and Joe White, beating the likes of Huddersfield Town, Leeds United and Watford before exiting at the hands of eventual winners Aston Villa at St. James' Park.

And there are some talented youngsters in the current Academy ranks who will be looking to shine in the prestigious competition.

Admission at Whitley Park is £3 for adults and £1 concessions, which also applies to season ticket holders.

But fans who can't make the match can watch for free (UK only) via the Official Newcastle United App. Commentary comes from Matt Newsum and Newcastle United Women defender Charlotte Potts.
