Miguel Almirón's terrific strike against Crystal Palace has been nominated for the Budweiser Premier League Goal of the Season award.

The Paraguayan's stunning finish, which won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for April, secured maximum points for the Magpies at St. James' Park as well as a sixth successive home win for the first time since April 2004.

The South American forward raced onto Bruno Guimarães' delightful pass, bursting past Palace full-back Tyrick Mitchell before expertly slotting the ball into the top left-hand corner.

Supporters can now vote for the goal here, with voting closing at 3pm (BST) on Friday, 27th May.

Also on the ten-man shortlist are Danny Ings of Aston Villa, Everton's Andros Townsend, Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, Manchester City's Rodri, Alexandre Lacazette of Arsenal, Chelsea's Mateo Kovačić, Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace, Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo and Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min.

The winner will be announced on Sunday, 29th May, with a time to be confirmed.
