Newcastle United Women return to St. James’ Park on Sunday, 23rd March to take on local rivals Sunderland Women – with the Magpies looking to break the Women’s Championship attendance record in the Tyne-Wear derby clash.
That record currently belongs to the Black Cats, with 15,387 in attendance in the reverse fixture at the Stadium of Light in October as the Magpies ran out 2-1 winners thanks to two goals from winger Beth Lumsden.
