Christmas Events Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern bookings for Christmas events (“Bookings”) hosted by Newcastle United Football Company Limited (“the Club”). 1. General 1.1. These Terms apply to Bookings and supplement the Conference and Events Terms and Conditions found here: Conference and Event Terms and Conditions - Newcastle United (“Conference Terms”). Where there is any conflict between these documents, these Terms shall prevail. 1.2. Unless otherwise stated, defined terms in these Terms are consistent with those used in the Conference Terms. Clause references are to clauses in the Conference Terms. 2. Bookings 2.1. At the Client’s discretion, all Bookings must be accompanied by either: 2.1.1. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of £20.00 (twenty pounds) per person payable at the time of placing the Booking, with the remainder of the Charges payable by the Client via a payment link sent by the Club (“Deposit”); or 2.1.2. 100% (one hundred per cent) of the Charges paid at the time of placing the Booking. 2.2. The remainder of the Charges for Events in November and December 2024 must be received by the Club on Friday 1st November 2024. 2.3. In an event of default, the Club may cancel the Booking unless alternative payment terms with the Client have been arranged. If the Booking is cancelled in such circumstances, the Club is entitled to retain the Deposit to cover the Club’s administration costs arising from such cancellation. 2.4. Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT (unless otherwise stated) at the rate which prevails when this contract was prepared and are subject to alteration should the VAT rate change. The prices quoted are in respect only of the booking of seats/tables/places at the function and any meals or beverages which may be specified by NUFC. Where the food is street food, seating is allocated. Additional items such as wine ordered at the table are not included and as such must be paid for (at the time of ordering) by card. 3. Cancellation of a Booking 3.1. Any cancellation of a Booking by the Client must be by advance notice in writing and any refund of Charges by the Club shall be in accordance with this Clause 3. 3.2. If the Client wishes to cancel its Booking, it will give the Club at least 30 (thirty) days’ written notice before the date of the Event. A refund of the Charges paid by the Client, less any Deposit, will be issued to the Client as soon as reasonably practicable after notice has been received, and in any event, within 30 days. 4. The Club can accept no responsibility for the property of the Client or its guests at the Stadiumand/or Christmas events. Cloakroom and car parking facilities are subject to availability and provided only for the convenience of the Clients and its guests. All goods or vehicles are deposited at the owner’s risk and without obligation on the part of the Club, except where loss or damage to the goods or vehicles has occurred as a result of negligence of the Club or its employees. 5. The Clients shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Stadium or the furnishings and equipment therein by the wilful act or default of the Clients and its guests. The Client shall pay the Club on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage. 6. The Client shall at all times comply with and ensure that its guests comply with all conditions and regulations made in respect of the Stadium by the Local Authority, the Fire Authority, the Local Magistrates Court, and any other regulatory body whatsoever. 7. The Client shall not bring into or place in the Stadium or its environs any flammable, combustible, dangerous or objectionable items, substances, or liquids. 8. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove from the Stadium any person who acts in a disorderly manner or any person (or item) which otherwise breaches the provisions of this conditions. 9. Dress code will be advised by the Club prior to the function and must be adhered to. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove from the Stadium any person who fails to adhere to the specified dress code. 10. In the interest of public concern, we may ask to search your bag upon arrival. 11. Only Client and guests who are 18 years of age or older are permitted to attend any Event. By participating in the Events, attendees confirm that they meet this age requirement. The Club reserves the right to request valid identification (such as a driving license or passport) from any attendee to verify that they meet this age requirement. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of age may result in denial of entry or removal from the Event. 12. On home matchdays, with a kick off time of 3pm, all guests will be guided to a bar facility for pre dinner drinks open from 7 pm. On matchdays, the party venue will be available from 8pm and dinner will be served at 8.30 pm as opposed to non-matchdays
