Newcastle United Women's number nine is Katie Barker, who can score goals and create them too from a central or wide area.
The former England under-19 international, who has also represented and captained England Colleges, joined the Magpies in the summer of 2020 but her first campaign was cut short when the season was curtailed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Lifelong Newcastle fan Barker made her Women's Super League debut for Sunderland Women as a 16-year-old and, having been a regular goal-getter for the Magpies since joining the club, netted the clincher in a 2-0 win at Barnsley Women on the final day of the 2022/23 campaign as United sealed promotion from the FA Women's National League Division One North.
And she hit 14 goals the following term as the Magpies were promoted again, this time from the FAWNL Northern Premier Division.
