A trusted and dependable full-back, teenager Burt enjoyed her first season with the Sunderland Women senior squad in 2021/22 before signing for Becky Langley's Magpies.

In addition to her experience with the Wearsiders, the defender has also represented England at youth level. She admires Lucy Bronze, the Northumberland-born defender who has played 100 times for the Lionesses.

Daisy's father, David, and uncle, Jamie, were both on Newcastle United's books as youngsters.

Despite her tender age, Daisy quickly became a first team regular in her first season with the Magpies, impressing with her pace and energy on the right-hand side, and even scored her first goal in a Vitality Women's FA Cup victory against Gateshead Rutherford Ladies.

Daisy joined Middlesbrough Women on loan in February 2024, then linked up with Derby for the current campaign.
