Miley signed his first professional contract with his boyhood club in the summer of 2022, eight years after linking up with Newcastle's youth set-up.
The 20-year-old made his debut for Newcastle's under-21 side at the age of 17 in the 2021/22 Papa John's Trophy, starting against League One side Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Miley was part of Newcastle's under-18 side which reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2020/21 before captaining the Toon Teenagers in the 2021/22 competition, reaching the fifth round.
The Geordie teenager, who plays primarily in the middle of the park, was another Magpies Academy product to make his first-team debut during Newcastle's 3-2 pre-season friendly win against Gateshead in July 2023.
After making his full senior debut for Eddie Howe's side against Hull, Miley was awarded his first start at St. James' Park at senior level - a 4-0 win against La Liga side Girona in August 2024.
He then joined Newport County on loan to build on his first team experience.
